I guess you guys can officially call me a "slacker", as I didn't get to update the blog on last month. We had quite a bit going on and it just sort of slipped through the cracks. I must send out a "belated" happy anniversary wish to Ellis and Sharon Simmons (9/18==>13 years) and Johnnie and Felecia Jones (9/10==>1 year), as well as a happy belated birthday to my nephew "Lesam "Trez" Jennings. He celebrated his 7th birthday in the big city of Memphis with Ty, Ke, Kayla, DJ, DeDe and myself. It was quite a "Chuck-E-Cheese" fun-filled adventure for us. I must get the pictures scanned in--it was DJ's very first, and might I add, I hope the last, Chuck-E-Cheese adventure. Of course, he ate the pizza first and the remainder was all a dream. The little guy couldn't stay awake==>even to see the Chuckster. It's been a while, but I hope all is well with everyone. The year has truly seemed to pass me by, not sure about you guys! In about 2 months, DJ will turn the big "one" and who can tell me where the past months have gone. He took his first steps on the anniversary of Ronnie and Shell, 1 day before he turned 9 months. At present, we can hardly keep track of 'em. I usually leave that up to DeDe. Other Items of Interest:" The Sports Factor":We all recently attended the Coffeeville High School football game to celebrate our brother's senior year with the "Pirates". You should all jot the name down as I'm pretty sure you'll hear it again. He's Mississippi's #1 "Dandy Dozen" running back. His name is Lee Chambers, and he proudly wears the #4. He's quite a character on the field and was a pleasure to watch in action. We all had a blast and are so proud of his many efforts, on and off the field. Godspeed and we want to continue to boost him on! See pics in links to write-ups below:
