The time has come again for one of our lengthy recaps so dig in....

In June, we had the pleasure of welcoming a new addition to the family. Elise was welcomed home by parents, Ronnie & Shell, and big sister MiMi. She's a splitting image of her sister and quite the beautiful "butterball". I should add that she's moving along very quickly...you think she knows something we don't (lol)?

In July of this year, da Bradford crew had the pleasure of making our annual summer family trip to the Chi-Town. Traveling with us again were the Bopsie Twins, Tweety and Bulah. DJ had a wonderful time visiting with Grandma Ann and going sightseeing, especially at the Navy Pier.

KIDDIE KORNER:

Well, school is back in session and I'm sure the kids have mixed emotions. Some are starting Big School, while others are moving on to the even bigger Jr. High! No matter what new challenges or differences this year will bring, we say BRING IT ON! We're praying for a very successful and resourceful year and ask that everyone keep each other in your prayers. Parents, we challenge you to ask for the best, work for the best and lastly let them know they are the best, no matter what. We love you kiddos and as always, YOU ARE OUR #1

We got the cuz clan together and they took pictures last month....PRICELESS! It gets no better than this. So...without further ado, we now present to you our KINGS and QUEENS of tomorrow...call us biased...we call it as it is!!!!

SPORTS FACTOR:

In sports news, we would like to announce some additions to the roster. Ty and Trez are now members of the elite "ROBERT HILL YOUTH LEAGUE". We sat in on a Sunday "home" practice last weekend and must admit the passion to play is definitely there! Trez and Ty both have the drive and we wish them the best this season. KC, a veteran quarterback of the RHYL, on the other hand is moving on to the Jr. High varsity team. We know he's well ready and hope to see some action as well.

On another level: Quintez is in the middle of summer camp practice at the U of Miami, and it's all physical from what we hear. The train hard, play hard and let's hope---WIN HARD! Just remember, what doesn't kill you. only makes you stronger.

Keep up the work boys. Stay cool, have fun and do your best out there!

Okay peeps....I know I've been "MIA" for a minute...okay a few minutes but the truth is, we have been really busy and time has once again gotten the best of us. So...where do we begin?!?

H-E-L-L-O again peeps!

We hope all is well with everyone and that you're staying as cool as possible these days. That is a struggle for us all by itself.

Yay! The kiddies are off to school once again, and we pray for a very safe and successful school year. We know they all work extra hard and we want to give them as much encouragement as we possibly can. We do have some first timers this year as it is Daylen's first time going to school. He's entering Head Start and will be in Ms. Jennings' (otherwise known as Aunt Ann) room.

On another note, DJ has been upgraded to "big boy" status and has a newly renovated "CARS" bedroom. He truly adores his big boy room and we've included a few pics for you to see:

Hello all,

Let us first start off by asking: Is it hot enough for everyone just yet?? As for us, it definitely is! We've enjoyed the summer days thus far, especially during our recent trip to Hot Springs, AR==>(See pics directly below) We look forward to going back soon to Magic Springs/Crystal Falls for a bit more of much needed fun! DJ is surely enjoying this time of year as he's gotten to spend a lot of time with his relatives and all. This is the time where school is out and so is everyone else. He's had recent visits from cousins Ty, Trez, Ke and Te-Te Ann. He's also had the pleasure of spending this summer with the Bopsie Twin nieces==>Jasmine "Tweety" and Deshontia "Bulah". Oh my, the fun times have just begun!

On another note: Our brother, Quintez, has been safely delivered to the U of Miami and is enjoying himself in the new "city life". We have been informed that he will proudly bear the #32 in the season lineup this fall. We wish him lots of love and much success in summer school.

We finished off the month of May with a bang as we celebrated the Memorial Day holiday & our brother's graduation from Coffeville High School on Friday, May 25th. It was really nice to take a walk down memory lane and reminisce on our high school days. For some of us, I'm sure that's a scary thought as it was relatively a long, long time ago (lol)===>[Momma--1973, Ronnie--1990, & Ann--1996] Anyways, we are so proud of him and look forward to sending him off to be with the Miami Hurricanes---Woo Hoo, GO CANES!! C-H-E-E-R-S to each of you!
We hope that everyone has had an enjoyable month thus far and anticipating the upcoming Memorial Day holiday. We surely are! I have now gotten acquainted with my new job (Internal Audit @ Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare) and must admit the change wasn't really that bad. I think it'll turn out to be a good move for us in the end. We seem to fit right in. DJ has already gotten a chance to explore the Memphis Zoo as part of Methodist's "Evening @ the Zoo" program during Nat'l Healthcare Week. DeDe & I enjoyed ourselves as well. And yes, before you ask, it was H-O-T out there!!!

It has been an exciting month for us being that we've had job changes, made a trip to visit Mom/Grandma "Resa" in Chicago (see pics below), and attended the night at the zoo. This Friday (5/25), we are headed to my brother's Coffeeville High School graduation, and we'll finish off the holiday weekend in Charleston. I know some of the family will spend the weekend in Springfield, IL, and we pray for their safe arrival and departure to return back home. Please send us pics or shoot us an email of how things went.
